About the Department:
The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in vaageswari college of Engineering 2nd shift polytechnic was established in the year 2014 with intake of 60 students and Faculty strength. The main focus of the department is to produce polytechnic students with Strong fundamentals in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Due to its modern infrastructure and exposure given to the students, it is one of the elite departments in India
Diploma In Electronics and Communication Engineering is a diploma level Electronics and communication Engineering course.The focus of the course is on understanding electronics networks and devices, electric magnetic fields, computer fundamental, communication systems. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a 3 year course. The academic program is divided into 6 semesters

TASK Telangana Academy for Skills and Knowledge was established by the Government of Telangana to enable a platform between Government, Academia and Industry to enhance employability quotient of students in the state.
Vaageswari College of Engineering has MoU with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). This promotes to support for conducting Workshops, Internships & Training programs to enhance student’s technical skills. Thus, Improving the success rate of employability.

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Modern tool usage: Create, select, apply appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering, IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal, cultural issues and consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice
