About Department

The Department of Computer Applications was started in the year 2006. The Department offers MCA 2 Years (4 Semesters) with intake of 60. The course offered by the department focuses on preparing students for a global career in computing by enriching the curriculum with the blend of theory and practice. In this era of technological explosion, the department is dedicated to maintaining a high standard of excellence through quality, technology and innovation. The MCA program seeks to prepare students for high level careers in the ever expanding field of Computer Applications.

Vision

To achieve professional excellence through high quality innovative teaching and training in computer applications for the development of students who can excel in the present future competitive profession according to the changing needs of the companies with high degree of integrity and ethical standards.The students with a good knowledge in computer applications are having opportunities which are almost endless in the IT industry. In this age of IT revolution, the MCA professionals can look forward for a bright future.

Mission

To provide high quality education in the field of computer applications and there by create computer professionals with proper leadership skills, commitment and moral values. Encourage faculty to have continuous progress in their teaching skills and self-development.

HOD

The department vision is to ensure high valued computer education to students. The primary focus of the department is to empower our students to solving real world problems in the society. Students are facilitated with personality development/communication skills and full stack programs for better placements. On-campus certification programs, Quizzes and other co-curricular activities are organized part of the schedule. Faculty/Students take initiative for social causes at individual level and as team under different branches/clubs of the institute. Turning a student into a good citizen is the prime aim of the department. The department maintain extremely experienced faculty, high academic standards and to compete in the fast-changing global technologies. Very good placement track record, regular workshops/seminars to impart high value based education by the academicians and industry experts. We are the team to redefine ourselves to take the department “Lead the Future…”
